Discipline fields come from the U.S. Department of Education Civil Rights Data Collection, SY 2021-22. Reported zeros and missing values are kept distinct.
Use and limits
A discipline vintage marker shows that a profile carries the collection year. It does not prove that every discipline field has a usable value. Keep zero, unavailable, and protected values separate, and check the definition of each reported total.

A discipline vintage marker shows that a profile carries the collection year. It does not prove that every discipline field has a usable value. Keep zero, unavailable, and protected values separate, and check the definition of each reported total.
Student counts and incident counts need different labels. Categories can overlap, so adding suspension, expulsion, arrest, and referral totals does not establish the number of unique students affected. Compare matching measures and enrollment populations from CRDC SY 2021–22.
